I-Bar has and is everything you would expect to find in an up-scale Manhattan martini lounge without the attitude of the typical New York City waiter. The staff is extremely friendly, professional and attentive. We sat at a small table next to the bar where we could see all of the action. The place was quite happening, while not overly packed. On this particular night they were doing a photo shoot for some in house advertising, which made the place seem slightly more exciting than I am sure it would have on a regular night. The recent remodel has been done so well that the place exudes opulent decadence in what I would say is also a very friendly and inviting atmosphere. The decor has been done in rich tones of reds, purples and gold, with low tables set beside a long banquet with nice looking (but not super comfortable) chairs. This allows for both small intimate and large boisterous groups to co-exist peacefully.

This is the perfect bar for anyone looking for a really great selection a International liquors and wines, they have Patron Tequila in both Reposado and Silver, Jägermeister, Grey Goose Vodka L’Orange and Le Citron – all liquors I rarely if ever, see in Bangalore. We made certain to take advantage of this and each had a Patron Reposado Margarita. They also have an extensive selection of single malt scotches and a wonderful list of global wines including wines from Chile, Italy and of course France. The beer list is not impressive though. With the most exciting beers offered being Heineken, Corona and Kingfisher, but this is the type of place you go to when you want to sip Champagne and martinis not down a Bud.

The bites menu is quite limited with mainly Kabobs and a few pizzas, this is a lounge to chill out in not meant for a full dining experience.

I thought the Bollywood hits DJ Shan was playing on this night helped create a good vibe for the evening, I am including the weekly music schedule because if your like me, you may want to plan accordingly:
Sunday-Tuesday: Lounge
Wednesday: Retro
Thursday: Rock
Friday: Bollywood
Saturday: House

Now, for the hard part, paying the bill! Yes it is true this kind of self-indulgence comes at a price and I-Bar is no exception to that rule.  Another one of these places you should try for business clients so that you can expense it!
