Sequoia- This massive restaurant/bar is located on the waterfront in Georgetown with beautiful views of the Potomac River. During the spring and summer, the outdoor bar is packed. During the winter, don’t bother going. The outdoor bar is the place to see and be seen. The crowd is definitely younger and hipper and both tourists and residents frequent the place. There are only about 25 seats at the bar, the other 500 patrons are expected to stand. The bartenders are efficient. With the crowds they have to deal with in the summer, don’t expect the bartender to spend any time with you, in fact be glad if you get a drink at all. Stick to beer and pre made margaritas here.
