Beachcomber

In this recipe, adapted from the 1947 edition of Trader Vic’s Bar-Tender’s Guide, bartender Jeffrey Morgenthaler increases the original spirits proportions to keep the cocktail from tasting watered-down once blended.

Ingredients
  

  • 60 ml Light Rum
  • 20 ml Cointreau
  • 20 ml Lime Juice
  • Half tsp Maraschino Liqueur
  • Dash Sugar Syrup

Preparation

  • Add all ingredients in a mixing glass and shake with lots of ice. Strain.

  • Lime Wedge
