Bonnie Prince Charlie

Origins

The Drambuie liqueur (blend of herbs, spices, Scottish honey and both Highland and Speyside malts) was invented in 1740 by  Bonnie Prince Charlie who led the Scottish uprising against the British. Bubbles and lemon were added to the drink to keep the drink sparkling to celebrate his victory.
