Sitting in the remote outpost of Ladakh, we had a lot of time on our hands and not enough exotic liqueurs. Our quest for the best bar in the Himalayas made us experiment with locally available ingredients to develop our own substitutes for these liqueurs / cocktail mixes. We called these the OLS or Original Ladakhi substitutes.

Ingredients
- 250 ml Brandy
- 750 ml Red Wine
- 150 ml Lime Juice
- 200 ml Orange Juice
- A few dashes Angostura Bitters

Preparation
- In a big jug filled with ice, add the bitters. Pour all the other ingredients and stir well.
Garnish
- Chopped fruits and Orange slices
